Open privacy choices to review or change your selection. Refusing does not limit access. If you withdraw consent, we stop future analytics and clear the accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site; withdrawal does not undo processing that already took place.
Remembering your choice
When analytics is enabled and you make a choice, we save that choice in your browser for up to 180 days. This setting is used to respect your request and is not sent to Google. Clearing browser storage removes it. If your browser blocks storage, we can apply your choice only to the current page.
Newsletter
The optional newsletter keeps you updated about new blog posts, books, and other releases. We use your email address for this purpose only with your consent, given by selecting the unchecked subscription box and submitting the form. This choice is separate from analytics and book waitlists.
Book waitlists
When you join a book waitlist, we collect your email address, the book name shown on the page, and your consent to receive emails about that book’s release and an exclusive launch discount. The book name is included automatically with your submission. Joining a waitlist does not subscribe you to the newsletter or another book’s waitlist.
How email signup data is handled
For both types of signup, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Providing an email address and consent is necessary to receive the requested emails, but is not required to read the site. We keep the wording and version of your consent, the privacy notice version, the signup page path, and Formspree’s submission record to document your request.
When signup is open, forms send data to Formspree, our form processing provider. Formspree also processes technical data such as IP addresses to operate the service and prevent spam. Formspree uses infrastructure in the United States and may process data in other countries where it operates. Read its Privacy Policy for details. No Formspree tracking script is loaded by this site.
Newsletter contact data is used until you withdraw consent. Waitlist contact data is used until the book’s launch offer ends or you withdraw, whichever is sooner. Afterward, we remove it from the active list; a minimal consent or opt-out record may be retained where needed to document your choice and prevent further emails.
You can unsubscribe at any time. To withdraw consent or request deletion, email hello@loseitgently.com, mentioning the newsletter or book waitlist you want to leave. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
Delivering the website
The hosting service processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the service. This is separate from optional visit analytics. Fonts and images are served from this site; opening a page does not request fonts from Google.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you can request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, including Poland’s Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).
